Nestled in 35 acres of gardens and woodland, our homely retreat is the perfect place to switch off and enjoy a much needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are plenty of peaceful spots within our grounds to breathe the fresh Derbyshire air and enjoy a quiet moment.

Physical exercise is a great way to combat stress and there are numerous trails and cycle paths on our doorstep and across the wider Peaks. The Coach House features a studio with yoga and sound therapy, two treatment rooms offering massages, facials and hand/feet treatments plus an interactive gym and sauna with refreshing cold shower.

With a choice of Hives tucked away in the woodland or homely bedrooms in the house, our kingsize beds with pure cotton linen, ensuite bathrooms and Roberts radios will provide the perfect night's sleep.

2 Day Wellbeing Retreat

We are delighted to announce that Gavin (Atavi yoga) and Sarah (Treasury of Light Sound Therapy) will be guiding participants through a 2 day retreat stay. Gavin and Sarah host regular classes at Callow Hall which many guests have been enjoying and benefitting from. The retreat will focus on enabling participants to identify what is holding them back and to release and reset on a new path.

Day One

  • Introduction
  • Identifying and letting go

Day Two

  • Setting the foundations for a new start
  • Elements from Gavin's programme 'A Life Well Led' featuring; nature connection (shinrin yoku), mindfulness, meditation, sound, fire and yoga

The retreat will include overnight accommodation, breakfast and lunch with seasonal and nutritional dishes focused on wellbeing, created by Head Chef, Tom and the kitchen team.

4 Day Juice Cleanse Retreat

We welcome Lucy Peel (BSc Naturopathy / MSc Nutritional Therapy) who brings many years' experience of juice cleanses - both for her own health and with her clients in a retreat setting. Lucy is very excited about sharing her programme and passion with you in these beautiful surroundings and as part of the team at Wildhive. Gavin and Sarah will be working in partnership with Lucy to create a holistic programme of wellbeing.


The programme is designed as a gentle cleanse on the digestive system and a proper rest for mind and body, leading you into the changing season, as the body starts to look inward as the nights draw in. You will be one of a small group of 10, guided and supported by Lucy.

You will be drinking organic vegetable juices and mineral broths to support and nourish your body during the cleanse. Your retreat will include taking nutritional and herbal supplements designed to heal and cleanse the gut. As part of your stay, you will receive some lovely treatments, such as a liver supporting castor oil pack.

There will also be walks in the beautiful surroundings of the Peak district, sound healing and gentle yoga classes and guided meditations with Gavin and Sarah. Daily workshops will include making up a personalised Bach Flower Remedy blend and how to support a healthy gut.

You will arrive in time for a light dinner of delicious organic plant foods before the cleanse starts the following day.  You will be guided through the next 3 days and then finish the fast with a light evening meal on the third day and breakfast the following morning before departing.

You will be instructed on a pre-cleanse diet to follow for 5 days before the programme and also be given advice as to what to eat after the cleanse.
