Country house hotel and self-catering accommodation in the Peak District
Terms and Conditions
1. Prices and availability
Wildhive adopts dynamic pricing and the price of our rooms fluctuates based on demand. When you make a reservation request, we will give you the total price for the rooms and the number of nights you have requested. The price you pay is the price quoted at the time of reservation.
Room prices are per room, per night and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate at the time of your reservation. If the rate of VAT changes between the date of your reservation and the date of your stay, we may adjust the rate of VAT but the price you pay for the room will remain the same.
Meals and other extras are not included in the room price but you may be able to add them to your reservation during the booking process or they may be available to you during your stay.
Although we endeavour to ensure that our website, third-party booking sites, and other marketing materials relating to our prices and services are accurate, the content and information are provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely upon. We make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that such content and rate is accurate, complete, or up-to-date.
In order to guarantee the reservation, if booked with us directly card details will be taken to guarantee your booking but no deposit will be taken until you check out. If booked online via our website full payment for your room reservation will be taken. Please see T&Cs for any cancellations.
All major credit & debit cards are accepted as methods of payment and deposit. No booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described in this paragraph have been provided.
We accept the following methods of payment:
(a) Credit cards: American Express, MasterCard/Diners International, Diners Club, JCB International Credit Card, Visa
(b) Debit cards: Visa/Delta, Visa/Electron and Maestro
At the time of check-in, we will authorise the accommodation charges (room rate, VAT and any service charge) and anticipated incidentals for the duration of your stay against your credit/card.
We may also choose to accept a deposit in place of payment card authorisation by another valid form of payment, including cash or cheque.
Amendments and cancellations are free up to 3pm, 72 hrs prior to your date of arrival. After this time, the first night's rate will be charged against the guaranteed credit/debit card. 'No shows' will be charged the equivalent of the first nights' rate on a two night stay or less. Bookings over and above two nights will be charged the total cost of the booking. Advanced purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
5. Arrivals and departures

The hotel operates a strict no smoking policy in all bedrooms and public areas. Breach of this policy will result in charges equal to any revenue lost from not being able to re-let the bedroom.
9. Service charges
A service charge will be added to your food bills if you are dining at the hotel or having drinks in the public area. We hope you enjoy the food and service, and we will add a suggested 12.5% service charge to your bill. If the service wasn't up to scratch, you’re not obliged to pay it, but please do let us know what we could do better.
Any equipment and valuables left on the premises are left at the guest’s risk and we do not accept any liability if items are lost, damaged or stolen.
11. Fire safety
The hotel has staff trained in fire safety on the premises at all times and will keep all staff and guests safe to the best of their abilities, until such time a Fire Attendant is present, if required.
CCTV is placed around the whole of the 35 acres of land and of the property of Wildhive, Callow Hall. Security of the hotel will be monitored by a staff member on the premises, 24 hours a day.
